HUMANE POLICE CLUB

Patented in 1934, the Humane Police Club was an attempt at a less than lethal baton for cops. The idea was a strong, internally rigid structure that is flexible at the tip end. The pitch was that the baton would create less crushing damage than the hardwood baton being lighter and having some flex to it. It is comfortable to hold and the location of the strap hole makes for added retention when the strap is worn.
