Sold by Guardian Protection Products out of Phoenix AZ in 1989 by advertising in SWAT Magazine (and other publications), these brass knuckles were what was available at that time. Not to be mistaken for the similar brass colored steel of today, these knuckles were sand cast and came complete with rough texture, "flash lines" where the molten brass leaks at the parting seam and very little finishing. An hour with some sandpaper and they would finish up nicely, smooth and comfortable. Having 4 individual stalls spreads out the fingers but this design is still fairly ergonomic and easy to get on and off. Slim enough to allow for 2 sets to be held in hand and double the effect. Total weight 191 grams.
